In the morning, we will pick you up in our tourist transport from your hotel to head close to the archeological complex of Tambomachay located at 3700 meters above sea level.  From here, we start our hike until Huchuy Qosqo, in ascent until the first pass known as Siclla Q’asa located at approximately 4020 meters (or 13,186 feet).  After a rest we continue on the Inca Trail until a small community where we can see the beautiful green valley stretching out, with the Pisac village to the right.  We will cross a small bridge, continuing on our way to a second pass known as Q’ueullococha at 4185 m.a.s.l. (13,727 feet) where we have a panoramic view of the mountains of Verónica, Pitusiray and Chicón, later passing by a beautiful lake that holds ducks, an Andean duck species known as Huallatas, and small fish.  Continuing on our adventure, we will arrive to the highest point of this trek at 4230 meters (13,874 feet), where we can see the village of Chinchero below in the Sacred Valley.  Finally, we descend until the community of Pucamarca (4010 meters), the place where we set-up our first campsite and enjoy a delicious dinner under a starry sky.

After a good breakfast, we head out of Pucamarca village, into the valley stretching out alongside conserved Incan steps that lead to the archeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo, strategically located in the Sacred Valley with its beautiful views.  This was the principal center of administration for places like Pisac, with buildings made of stone, common to Incan architecture.  Here we can also see ancient storage buildings that were an important agricultural center.  Finally, we descend until Lamay where we have our last lunch together, waiting for our transport which will take us until Ollantytambo, about an hour drive, passing through the Sacred Valley and villages of Lamay, Calca, Urubumba and those rural peoples who mostly are dedicated to agriculture.  We will take the train from Ollantytambo to Aguas Calientes (2000m), being introduced to respective hotels.  There are many touristic restaraunts, hot springs, and a large hand-craft market to enjoy in town.

After breakfast provided in hotel we walk to the bus station and take about a 30 minute bus ride up to the entrance of Machu Picchu, located at 2400 meters above sea level.  Here will be opportunity to see the sunrise and take advantage of few other people present as you start your guided tour of the famous city, visiting the main plaza, Circular tower, Sacred Solar Clock, living quarters, Temple of the Three Windows and cemeteries.  Later there is free time to explore more of the ruins, take photos and then catch the bus back down to Aguas Calientes town, finally taking the return train to Cusco city with transfer to your hotel.
