It is located at 125 Km of the road Cusco  to Puno, along the Vilcanota River. District of San Pedro de Cacha Canchis province, 3,500 meters above sea level. (11,500 feet).

Evidence indicates that Raqchi was a town of multiple constructions for various purposes, wayranas (buildings having only 3 walls), qolqas (stores), religious water sources, etc. Possibly, it was a very important route and connection to the Collasuyo people, the distribution center of goods between Puno and Cusco.

This is a new alternative experiential tourism in Raqchi, a unique, wonderful and fascinating experience, where we enjoyed the conviviality, customs, ancient traditions and ancestral villagers of Raqchi.

First day: Cusco – Raqchi

We leave Cusco very early, and then go to the village of Raqchi, where we visit the homes of local families, there we can see the customs and traditions that remain from ancient times. Also we help in household chores and be part of the daily lives of people knowing their crops, somber and daily work with the land for their food. At night we will have a folkloric show of typical dances of the area.

Second day: The Temple of Wiraqocha – Cusco.

After breakfast, we take a guided tour of 03 hours in Wiraqocha Temple, which according to chroniclers was built by the Inca Wiraqocha in homage to the Superior Invisible God of Andean people: “Apu Kon Titi Wiraqocha“. After the visit will observe handicrafts and fabrics made by the same people in the area. Then we will have a typical lunch. In the afternoon return to Cusco.
